Harvard's LILA is a collaborative learning community of business leaders and Harvard researchers who build insights into the strategic challenge of supporting learning and innovation in today's global organizations. LILA's members consist of twenty executives, many of whom hold CLO, CKO or HR titles, from a diversity of top organizations such as Cisco, Humana, US Army, World Bank, Raytheon, SAS YMCA and Deloitte. These executives meet for quarterly meetings at Project Zero with a range of leading faculty from Harvard and other institutions who conduct research on topics related to the challenges LILA members face--such as to leadership & talent development, organizational learning, and communities of practice. Over the past five years, LILA has included leading thinkers such as Chris Argyris, Warren Bennis, John Seely Brown, Linda Hill, Rosabeth Moss Kanter, David Garvin, and Etienne Wenger. LILA is a laboratory in which organizational leaders, researchers and Harvard faculty share their innovative practices and practical challenges for feedback and assistance.
