Dilemmas abound in our digitally interconnected lives. Whether we recognize them as such or not, we face personal, moral, and ethical quandaries related to our capacity to be constantly connected to close ties, and to share content with and participate in larger, networked publics. Such digital dilemmas are particularly important for young people. In the proposed project, our Harvard Project Zero-based research team will collaborate with Common Sense Media to conduct new research on the digital dilemmas youth face at present to support publications and new curriculum development.
