Lindsey Hicks joins Project Zero as a practitioner specialist on the Envisioning Innovation in Education project.  Prior to coming to Project Zero Lindsey was an elementary special education teacher and teacher leader in the Scarsdale NY public schools. Lindsey was a member of the Scarsdale Center for Innovation and co-founder of the Scarsdale Reggio Emilia study group, exploring contemporary issues in constructivist and innovative pedagogy with K-12 teachers and administrators. Lindsey’s professional interests include literacy, project-based learning and inquiry, the design of multi-modal curricula, sustainability, music as an empowering force in the lives of teachers and students, and access and equity in education.
