As a fellow with the Center for Digital Thriving, Jacqueline is developing the Digital Life Skills Toolkit, a resource that puts digital agency at the center of what young people aging out of the foster care system need in order to thrive. Co-designed with youth in a Foster Youth in Transition program, the toolkit equips social workers with the language and resources they need to engage meaningfully with young people's digital lives as they move toward independent living.
Beyond PZ
Dr. Jacqueline Vickery is a Colorado-based researcher and educator who works to close the gap between young people's digital lives and the programs meant to support them. After nearly two decades in academia, she left her faculty position to found Mindful Media and bring that research into the organizations working most closely with youth in her community.
