Understanding of Consequences Project

The Understanding of Consequence Project has studied how students' assumptions about the nature of causality impact their ability to learn complex science concepts and is developing ways to expand students' understanding of various dimensions of causality in the context of particular science concepts. The project developed curriculum modules to teach the causal concepts and is developing professional development resources for teachers including a website to disseminate the project work.
